i should blog abt my nyc trip for thanksgiving. but i really don't feel like it. leaving here in 5 days. i thought the day would never come. now i should be studying but i'm so darned restless! can't wait to just fly home RIGHT THIS MINUTE! haha. but really. i'm so restless, i can't sit still and study and it's annoying! rah! i need to get through the next 3 days and then i can pack and go home. can't wait till finals are over. the anticipation is killing me. urgh.

in nyc. but i've been cooped up in els's apartment for the past 2 days cos of my business plan that i need to send out today. i hate everyone else for having a life. :( ok not hate lah, hate is too mean a word. you asked me why do i bother. do you really want me to waste the past 3 months plus that i've been here? all the pain the heartache the sleepless nights for nothing? i cannot give up. not now, not when i'm this close to the end. it's so frustrating. once i get back to ithaca it's gonna be work non-stop till finals is over. WHY?! argh. i just want to talk to you, to take away this lonliness, boredom, and frustration. but i guess you are just one of those people who have a life too. i'm just frustrated. i hate this.

Like i always do

i'm growing increasingly annoyed. :( so many people in aussie all finishing/finished exams. unfair. i'm still here with 4 wks to go. i wanna go home so bad. but i can't bitch about it. cos time is precious, and i gotta make the most outta it. Gonna go for some hotpot thing tonight. hope it's good. :) oh mannnn, i wanna go home. i wanna fast forward this till Christmas! :) the best time of the year. i want pretty christmas lights everywhere. sigh. i should get back to work. :(

Well, i'm still not in a blogging mood but i suppose i should blog. haha blog abt my trip to boston.

Fri afternoon was crazily rushed. i had to rush for section (tutorial), then rush my assignment which wasn't my best work. then rush for lunch, shower and pack all in 30 mins. haha. it was crazy. finally got on the bus and i had a fun time sleeping/talking to rike, oliva and fiona. reached the hotel, WHICH WAS AWESOME, haha. put all of our stuff down then we headed out and walked all the way to harvard square for supper. i was pretty surprised that everyone was ok with walking around a city that we had no knowledge of whatsoever! and despite during that the whole trip, we never got lost! haha i'm so amazed.

Sat morning woke up at 8 -.- sleepy. haha. we went for breakfast with Lee and the girls. had muffins and iced tea. haha. Michael joined us later. then we went to harvard! haha. for being the oldest college in the US, it's surprisingly small. or at least small to us, being used to cornell's huge campus. haha. i bought a harvard t-shirt which i'm wearing now. haha. after that, we took a walk down to the river and took pictures! haha. took the subway (which is better than in nyc) and stopped by charles river again. walked 2 subway stops down, through the park to get to downtown boston. then we (somehow) managed to navigate our way to quincy market. it was SO crowded and chaotic!! omg!! haha. gave me such a headache. bought good food and had quite a late lunch. then we spilt up. rike, fiona and i went shopping while the rest went sightseeing. :) after that we went for dinner at this restaurant that had chicken rice, char kway teow etc! haha. we had stir-fried beef hor fun, chicken rice, teh bing and bak kut teh (which sucked, and tasted really like herbal soup) haha. rike taught me to count in french and german! and some essential phrases. haha. so exciting. took the subway back to the hotel and then michael bought wine for us, so a couple of people came over to our room and we had wine. haha. not much of a party. some of the others went to a gay bar though. anyway, for the 2 nights, rike and i shared a bed while fiona and olivia shared another. rike says she misses sleeping with me. haha.

Sunday morning,we woke up and then went to breakfast. haha. headed down to MIT! haha was all psyched abt it, but then turned out to be no big deal. haha. cos it looked like nus! haha. a bunch of technical looking buildings. haha. the weather was AWESOME! :) so sunny and fun. after that we went down to harvard sq again to go shopping. didn't really buy anything but it was fun! :) navigated our way around the city and took pictures with and of dogs. rushed back and got on the bus, a LONG LONG way back. like 7 hours. oh man.. butt sore. haha. so this was my not-so-exciting trip to boston. ;)

Hello! :) well i haven't been in a post-ty mood lately. well, nothing much has happened over the past wk. except halloween and one exam. haha. Friday night i went with rike and fiona and olivia and people to von cramm (a house) for a halloween party. didn't wanna spend money on a costume so i wore my leather jacket, leather skirt and bought fishnet stockings for the "biker chick" look. haha. the party wasn't fun at all. so crowded, the drinks sucked and we were getting bored. haha. so we left the party and went in search of other parties. ;) rike went as a bloody school girl, fiona as a prim and proper (slutty) schoolgirl. haha. met joyce, dan and mike there. when we left the party i saw a text from justin. he was worried that i would get drunk or something. haha. i'm sorry you were worried, but i'm fine! :) dan tried to do this "parkour" thing, and they ran on top and over cars and stuff. ridiculous. haha. he tried to run off a wall and off a trashbin, but fell quite badly haha. we ended up going to a frat, alpha zeta for our own private party. rike made me a jack daniels with coke. (not enough coke) tasted disgusting. haha. played beer pong! and realised i suck at it. -.- haha. left early around 2am with olivia to get joyce back safely cos she wasn't feeling well. pics are up on fb! haha.

sat and sun were spent studying. :( prelim on monday was horrible! :( then i didn't get my bid for fnce! so frustrating. gahh. boston this wkend! :) i need to get work done ahead of time though, i hope the next few weeks get over and done with soon! it's gonna be packed with work work work and exams. but at the end of it all, it'll be worth it to go home! :)
